Officer, Contracts (UAE National)
Job Purpose:
To perform administrative activities to ensure the satisfaction of internal department needs, handle contractual matters of various projects during bidding and execution, and provide appropriate levels of contractual support whenever required and under proper supervision.
To ensure all contractual activities are carried out to a high standard in accordance with Masdar requirements, ensuring transparency and appropriate documentation support.
To monitor that all members of the project teams comply with Masdar governance and provide support to undertake audits whenever necessary.
Responsibilities:

Assist the Contracts Managers and project teams to negotiate the terms and conditions with vendors to ensure that Masdar’s interests are safeguarded from a contractual perspective.

Assist the Contracts Managers and project teams in developing contracts with vendors in line with the agreed terms and conditions.

Assist the Contracts Managers and project teams as required in administering contracts according to the agreed terms and conditions.

Monitor vendors’ performance and ensure that products/services meet the agreed standards and contracts.

Maintain a high standard of tracking and record-keeping of contracts, internal/external correspondences, and filing other relevant documentation.

Build and maintain a network of relevant contacts to support daily activities and long-term objectives of the team.

Job Purpose:
The job purpose is to ensure the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data related to renewable energy markets, industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments. Additionally, the role provides actionable insights to support Masdar’s initiatives, market expansion, partnership development, and project investment decisions.
