The Invoice Controller is responsible for managing accounts receivable by recording and uploading incoming invoices related to freight and charter operations. They also upload and record incoming invoices into the SAP system, verify established tariffs prior to approval, review outstanding balances, update goods and inventory movements, associated costs, and all aspects of billing. Job responsibilities:

Verify fuel invoices and commission invoices for approval by the vessel operator and upload them into SAP for payment.
Keep all documents (final DA with supporting documents, fuel invoices, broker commission invoices, etc.) in a secure company database.
Enter all initial invoices, final DA and fuel invoices into the SoftMar system.
Verify HIRE invoices received from main landlords with SoftMar Head-fixture data each time upon receipt.
Check your SoftMar broker commission account and verify payment for shipping, late fees, and miscellaneous invoices.
Save all shipping invoices, delinquencies, and miscellaneous invoices in a secure database folder.
