Specification Writer

 Key Responsibilities:

Review architectural drawings, sketches, and design documents to develop and edit clear, concise specifications.

Translate design intent into written specifications detailing materials, systems, installation methods, testing procedures, and quality standards.

Collaborate with Project Managers and Design Leads to ensure specifications align with project goals, budgets, and timelines.

Stay up to date with current building codes, authority regulations, material innovations, and construction technologies to maintain relevance and accuracy in documentation.

Provide timely progress updates and reports to Design and Project Management teams.

Maintain well-organized records of all specification drafts, revisions, and approvals for each project.

Support keynoting processes and integrate technical product data, ensuring consistency across documents.

Research and recommend new materials, systems, and products that enhance project design and sustainability goals.

Ensure that specifications are coordinated with drawings and other contract documents to minimize inconsistencies.

Qualifications:

Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, including at least 10 years within the UAE.

Proven experience in architectural specification writing or technical documentation.

Junior Architect

 Bachelor’s degree in architecture or related field.

Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Confident and self-assured individual with strong decision-making capabilities.

Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience

Expertise in AutoCAD, BIM, or other design software.

Excellent communication skills in English.

ترجمة نية التصميم إلى مواصفات مكتوبة تفصل المواد والأنظمة وطرق التثبيت وإجراءات الاختبار ومعايير الجودة.

التعاون مع مديري المشاريع ومسؤولي التصميم لضمان توافق المواصفات مع أهداف المشروع والميزانيات والجداول الزمنية.

ابق على اطلاع بأحدث قواعد البناء واللوائح التنظيمية وابتكارات المواد وتقنيات البناء للحفاظ على الصلة والدقة في التوثيق.

توفير تحديثات التقدم في الوقت المناسب والتقارير إلى فرق التصميم وإدارة المشاريع.

الحفاظ على سجلات منظمة جيدًا لجميع مسودات المواصفات والمراجعة والموافقات لكل مشروع.
