Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with strong experience in HVAC and plumbing systems design and site execution for MEP projects. The ideal candidate should be capable of leading a team, managing mechanical works on-site, and ensuring timely project delivery, within budget, and in compliance with UAE regulations.

This role requires expertise in mechanical design, project execution, and coordination with stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Engineering (HVAC & Plumbing):

  • Design HVAC systems, including load calculations, duct sizing, pipe routing, and equipment selection according to ASHRAE, SMACNA standards, and UAE regulations.

  • Develop plumbing system designs including water supply, drainage, stormwater systems, ensuring compliance with UAE plumbing codes.

  • Prepare technical drawings, schematics, and BOQs using AutoCAD, Revit, and related software.

  • Perform pump head calculations, ventilation system designs, and chilled water system designs.

  • Select appropriate equipment such as AHUs, FCUs, VRF systems, chillers, pipes, and fire protection systems.

  • Collaborate with electrical and civil engineers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.

  • Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, DEWA standards, and other regulatory requirements.

• Site Execution and Project Management:

  • Supervise the installation of HVAC and plumbing systems on-site to ensure compliance with design specifications.

  • Oversee the installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of chillers, pumps, air distribution systems, pipe networks, and plumbing systems.

  • Identify site-related technical issues and ensure prompt resolution.

  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure smooth execution.

  • Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain detailed project documentation including progress reports and inspection records.
