Dentist for reimbursement team ( UAEN)
Role Purpose:
The primary responsibility of the Dental Claims Reviewer is to evaluate the medical necessity and consistency of diagnoses, procedures, drug codes, and descriptions stated on dental claims, in line with accepted dental coding rules and guidelines. This role ensures the accuracy of dental claims processing, while meeting quality standards, daily targets, and KPIs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the medical necessity of dental claims, including diagnosis, procedures, and drug codes.
- Process (re-)submission of dental claims, ensuring alignment with daily targets, quality standards, and other KPIs.
- Ensure the correct application of contractual prices/discounts, schedules, benefits allocation, and the collection of deductibles and co-payments.
- Adhere to policy limits and follow claim submission protocols.
- Contribute to developing, updating, and implementing guidelines for the evaluation and processing of dental claims.
- Assist in updating policies, procedures, and work instructions for the dental claims review and processing.
- Escalate issues regarding dental claims to the Supervisor, Dental Review.
- Report any trends related to provider claims to improve quality and prevent errors.
- Report fraudulent or abusive dental cases to the Dental Review Supervisor.
- Provide high-quality customer service while maintaining medical and ethical work standards.
- Consistently work towards achieving daily target quality benchmarks and other KPIs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Strong knowledge of dental coding rules and guidelines.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to meet daily targets and work within defined KPIs.
- Familiarity with dental claims procedures and policies.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to identify trends and escalate issues as needed.

Job Title: Authorization Officer (Temp)

Responsibilities:
- Perform claims adjudication and reconciliation processes.
- Provide patient care navigation, including appropriate (pre-) authorizations of medical services and medical case management.
- Administer cross-border healthcare operations.
- Support the further development of automation processes where sensible while having ownership of the authorization auto-compute engine, with overall accountability for the combined rules engine lying with the Head of Medical Operations.
- Act as an in-house TPA management for the Domestic Government relation project expansion.
