Job Title: HR Officer – Recruitment & HR Services
Responsibilities:
- Utilize various search strategies to create a pool of resumes for qualified applicants for every job opening, such as publishing ads in both traditional and digital channels (College website, LinkedIn, etc.) and working with recruiting consultants overseas.
- Review relevant documents from recommended candidates, as per the required college standards to complete the application process and follow up on recommended candidates’ application status.
- Develop and maintain a talent pool database with qualified resumes for each significant position at the college.
- Draft official HR memos and letters.
- Send general HR emails to mark employees’ occasions such as new babies, marriage, etc.
- Collaborate with the IT Department in facilitating the new joiners’ with necessary IT requirements (such as usernames, emails, etc.) and the deactivation of the same in case of leavers.
- Assist with the induction program for new joiners with the HR manager.
- Help the Human Resources manager in reviewing and updating the existing job descriptions as per the roles specified in the Organization's Chart.
- Ensure that the JDs are included in all personnel files and that the necessary recruitment forms are completed per procedures.
- Post job advertisements for new positions as required.
- Draft job offers and Contracts for new hires.
- Regularly monitor the careers email by checking emails, CVs downloading, sorting, etc.
- Recommend new sources for the recruitment of active and passive candidates.
- Review applications and CVs to evaluate their qualifications and determine if they meet the position requirements.

Job Title: Assistant Professor in Emergency Medical Care
Job Summary:
The Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences at Liwa College is inviting applications for one position of Assistant Professor in Emergency Medical Care. The successful candidates are expected to start in September 2025.
Selected candidates will teach both theoretical and practical courses in the Emergency Medical Care Program. The candidates must be highly self-motivated to achieve the mission of the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences in the areas of research, education, community services, and social responsibility.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in teaching theoretical and practical courses in the field of Emergency Medical Care.
- Assist in the continued development and promotion of the Emergency Medical Care Program.
- Mentor and supervise the research work of students.
Competencies:
The successful candidates must possess a notable track record of teaching and research and demonstrate evidence of active and consistent contributions to their field. The candidates should have a record of internationally recognized and peer-reviewed publications.
Requirements:
Minimum qualifications include:
- A PhD holder in Emergency Medical Care, OR a Practicing Physician with a Postgraduate Diploma in Emergency Medicine delivered by one of the reputable boards (Arab Board, American Board, UK Board, European Board, Australian Board, etc.)
- Fluency in spoken and written English.

المسؤوليات:
- استخدام استراتيجيات بحث متنوعة لإنشاء مجموعة من السير الذاتية للمتقدمين المؤهلين لكل وظيفة شاغرة، مثل نشر الإعلانات في القنوات التقليدية والرقمية (موقع الكلية، لينكد إن، وما إلى ذلك) والعمل مع مستشاري التوظيف في الخارج.
- مراجعة الوثائق ذات الصلة من المرشحين الموصى بهم وفقًا للمعايير المطلوبة من الكلية لإتمام عملية التقديم والمتابعة مع حالة طلبات المرشحين الموصى بهم.
- تطوير وصيانة قاعدة بيانات لمجموعة من السير الذاتية المؤهلة لكل وظيفة هامة في الكلية.
- صياغة مذكرات ورسائل رسمية للموارد البشرية.
- إرسال رسائل بريد إلكتروني عامة للموارد البشرية للاحتفال بمناسبات الموظفين مثل الولادة والزواج، إلخ.
- التعاون مع قسم تكنولوجيا المعلومات لتسهيل توفير متطلبات تكنولوجيا المعلومات للمنضمين الجدد (مثل أسماء المستخدمين، والبريد الإلكتروني، إلخ) وتعطيلها في حال مغادرة الموظف.
- المساعدة في برنامج التعريف للمنضمين الجدد مع مدير الموارد البشرية.
- المساعدة في مراجعة وتحديث الوصف الوظيفي الحالي مع مدير الموارد البشرية وفقًا للأدوار المحددة في الهيكل التنظيمي.
- التأكد من أن الأوصاف الوظيفية مرفقة في الملفات الشخصية لجميع الموظفين وأن استمارات التوظيف اللازمة مكتملة وفقًا للإجراءات.
- نشر الإعلانات عن الوظائف الشاغرة للوظائف الجديدة عند الحاجة.
