We are hiring a Motion Graphic Artist to join Bloomberg Media’s newsroom on the Multimedia Desk in Dubai. This team is represented in the global newsroom with colleagues in London and New York and works alongside the Global Newsdesk and TV Assignment Desk on assignments and deliverables. You would be responsible for designing and producing high-quality motion graphic elements that will be used in both live or pre-produced elements for all platforms, including broadcast, digital, and social media platforms. Most assignments are under a tight deadline and would be prepared in a fast-turn model for breaking news or a quick timeline for produced packages.
Senior Producer, Dubai

- Manage a team of diverse producers
- Communicate effectively to give guidance and direction to anchors, reporters, and producers
- Work with the News Desk and Executive Producer to ensure your program reflects Bloomberg's editorial priorities
- Confidently output live shows from the control room
- Respond to breaking news with a sense of urgency
- Work with the Executive Producer to improve and evolve the program to meet our strategic goals
You’ll Need To Have
- 5+ years of experience outputting live television news programs
- Exceptional news judgment
- A good understanding of financial markets
- Experience covering the Middle East and/or Africa
- Flexibility with hours including early starts

Freelance Output Producer, Dubai
We’ll Trust You To
- Write scripts, commission graphics, and produce other visual elements to support storytelling
- Assist the line producer in the control room
- Produce content that can be used across Bloomberg's media platforms
- Take direction from the senior producer and execute tasks with minimal supervision
You’ll Need To Have
- At least three years of experience in a similar role
- A good grasp of financial markets and exceptional editorial judgment
- Organizational skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- The ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Flexibility to work early mornings

We’ll Trust You To
- Use your industry knowledge across the TMT & Consumer sectors to actively create research on a regular basis
- Monitor and interpret major company developments and identify macro themes and trends affecting the industries
- Manage earnings cycle, including previews and reviews
- Collaborate with our team of BI analysts and strategists located in New York, London, and Asia to coordinate and collaborate on analysis
- Interact with investors, industry and market professionals, investor relations personnel, and senior management at target companies
- Work with Global Data teams to ensure data completeness and quality control for existing and new data sets of target companies
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal departments and external market professionals
You’ll Need To Have
- Substantial experience in Equity Research, specializing in TMT & Consumer companies within the region
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Detailed knowledge of the Consumer and TMT sectors in the Middle East
- Experience interpreting financial statements and performing quantitative financial analysis
- Knowledge of advanced concepts, practices, and procedures of finance and accounting
- Strong primary research and writing skills, with a focus on content in English
- Strong Excel and/or Python programming skills

- Act in an advisory capacity to our clients around the challenges that they face, and how they can or could use our products and technology to solve them
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the competitor landscape and how this affects both internal and external customers
- Influence the direction of Bloomberg product through thought leadership, contribution on innovative ideas, and establishing relationships between Bloomberg's decision-makers and our clients
- Develop & establish your own roadmap of initiatives based on your in-depth understanding of markets, tools, and workflows that align with product, sales, and company goals. Maintain check-in points and self-report successes and challenges on these strategies
- Participate actively in new projects that drive departmental and firm-wide initiatives and goals
- Seek out additional ways to make an impact, such as mentoring, involvement in training, running campaigns, and active involvement in product enhancement
You’ll Need To Have
- Extensive experience in equity, portfolio analysis, quantitative analysis, and buy-side workflows
- Practical experience using the terminal, or similar product, and applicable asset class functionality
- The business insight required to use your knowledge & experience to make good judgment and quick decisions so as to tangibly impact the commercial success of our business
- The ability to convey complex ideas and solutions in a simple and concise way to audiences both large and small
- A reciprocal and commercial approach, along with the ability to operate within both departmental and company-wide initiatives, in a non-hierarchical structure without corporate titles or structure
- A willingness to travel across MEA as required in order to provide clients with a premier service
