Key responsibilities:
As our Crewing Officer, you are responsible for ensuring the timely deployment of qualified and competent crew members. This includes managing crew assignments, coordinating crew changes, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Detailed responsibilities are as follows:
- Monitor Training Plan for all seafarers (officers & crew).
- Track all STCW training requirements and validity ensuring courses do not expire during term of employment contract.
- Track all ZMI documents related to all Crew and ensure compliance with ZMI SHEQ policies.
- Reviewing and verifying mobilization invoices from agencies ensuring accuracy prior to approval for payment.
- Open Personnel Training Matrix for all new joining staff.
- Ensures that all training required in terms of ISM is completed on time.
- Prepare and monitor Budget for all Offshore staff.
- Check local and client requirement training for every new joining crew member by following up with Training Coordinator on time.
- Ensure required training courses are booked to commence the first working day after arrival of the crew member.
- Ensure transport is arranged for staff to attend training courses and visa medicals.
- Apply for Travel cards and Security Passes as soon as crew members arrive, where applicable.
- Provide MSI’s with all relevant data for booking client interviews.
- Arrange and schedule Client Inductions on time.
- Ensure all staff joining ships have completed all required training before embarking.
- Maintain a Master List and daily status report detailing training completed, underway, and planned.
- Liaise with Training Coordinator to coordinate availability dates for crew requiring additional training so as not to delay sailing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or any relevant degree.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Marine Industry.
- Sound interpersonal skills.
- Ability to convey information in a simple and effective manner.
- Ability to perform tasks independently, without assistance.
- Ability to maintain acceptable and punctual attendance and work-time behavior.

Key responsibilities:
As our Technical Superintendent, your main responsibility is to supervise and manage the designated barges' technical characteristics for ZMI operations ensuring they are maintained to maximize fleet availability and utilization.
- Support Operations Superintendent with preparing annual barges' maintenance budget and 5-year maintenance budget forecast.
- Calculate the required emergency stock for spares, ensuring records are up to date on the vessels.
- Plan, schedule, and oversee execution of planned maintenance, following policies, procedures, and using dedicated tools.
- Plan, schedule, and oversee major shipyard maintenance periods, including class special and intermediate surveys.
- Run planned maintenance execution effectiveness analysis.
- Inspect designated barges periodically to ensure that planned maintenance items have been satisfactorily completed.
- Participate in barges mobilizations as guided by Operations Superintendent, being involved in kick-off and follow-up meetings, initial, subsequent and close-out inspections, providing expertise to IOT and the Master during these.
- Ensure all downtime and defects are recorded, root cause analyses are executed, and corrective actions are implemented.
- Act as the technical subject matter expert, providing support to the barge’s chief engineer and Operations Superintendent.
- Ensure the adoption and utilization of the AMOS system across capable barges.
- Support development of technical policies, procedures, and required tools with the technical team.
- Escalate issues to Operations Superintendent when necessary, such as outstanding maintenance.
- Provide technical expertise and support to the vessel crews, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing guidance on repairs and maintenance procedures.
Minimum requirements and qualifications:
- Chief Engineer (Unlimited) Certificate of Competency.
- DP Maintenance (NI).
- Degree in Nautical studies.
- Three years of experience in the maritime or similar industry, in a technical/engineering position or 3 years as Chief Engineer on Jack-up Barges.
- GCC experience is a plus.

- تنسيق الحجز للدورات التدريبية المطلوبة بحيث تبدأ في أول يوم عمل بعد وصول العضو الجديد.
- ضمان ترتيب وسائل النقل للموظفين للذهاب إلى الدورات التدريبية والفحوص الطبية للحصول على التأشيرات.
- تقديم جميع البيانات ذات الصلة لمؤسسات MSI لحجز مقابلات العملاء.
- ترتيب وجدولة الدورات التعريفية للعملاء في الوقت المحدد.
- التأكد من أن جميع الموظفين الذين ينضمون إلى السفن قد أكملوا جميع الدورات التدريبية المطلوبة قبل الصعود على السفينة.

بصفتك مشرفًا فنيًا، ستكون مسؤولًا عن الإشراف على الخصائص التقنية للبوارج المحددة لعمليات ZMI، وضمان صيانتها لتعظيم توافر الأسطول واستخدامه.
- دعم المشرف العمليات في إعداد ميزانية الصيانة السنوية للبوارج وتوقعات ميزانية الصيانة لمدة 5 سنوات.
- حساب المخزون الطارئ المطلوب للقطع الاحتياطية وضمان تحديث السجلات على السفن.
- تخطيط وجدولة والإشراف على تنفيذ الصيانة المخطط لها وفقًا للسياسات والإجراءات باستخدام الأدوات المخصصة.
- تخطيط وجدولة والإشراف على تنفيذ فترات صيانة كبيرة في الحوض الجاف، بما في ذلك الفحوصات الخاصة والفحوصات المتوسطة.
- إجراء تحليل فعالية تنفيذ الصيانة المخطط لها.
- فحص البوارج المحددة بشكل دوري لضمان إتمام عناصر الصيانة المخطط لها.
- المشاركة في تحضير البوارج للاستخدام من خلال اجتماعات البداية والمتابعة، والفحوصات الأولية، مع تقديم الخبرة للطاقم الرئيس والتوجيهات أثناء ذلك.
- تقديم الدعم التقني كخبير فني للطاقم الرئيسي في السفينة والمشرف العمليات.
- ضمان تبني واستخدام نظام AMOS عبر البوارج القادرة.
- دعم تطوير السياسات الفنية والإجراءات والأدوات مع الفريق الفني.
- تصعيد المشكلات إلى المشرف العمليات حيثما كان ذلك مناسبًا، مثل صيانة غير مكتملة.
- توفير الخبرة الفنية والدعم للطاقم البحري، بما في ذلك حل المشكلات الفنية وتوجيه الإصلاحات والإجراءات.
المتطلبات والمؤهلات الدنيا:
- شهادة رئيس مهندس (غير محدودة) في الكفاءة.
- شهادة صيانة DP (NI).
- درجة في الدراسات البحرية.
- ثلاث سنوات من الخبرة في الصناعة البحرية أو الصناعة المماثلة في وظيفة فنية/هندسية أو ثلاث سنوات كرئيس مهندس في بوارج رفع.
- خبرة في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي تعتبر ميزة.
