Job Overview:
We are seeking a technically skilled and detail-oriented Pre-Sales Engineer specializing in Public Address (PA), Pro-Audio, and Audio-Visual (AV) systems. Ideal candidates will have a background in ELV systems with experience or knowledge in PA Systems. This role involves collaborating with the sales team to design, document, and present tailored solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design
- System Development: Design and propose integrated PA, Pro-Audio, and AV solutions aligned with client needs and industry standards.
- System Visualization: Create concept drawings, system diagrams, and layouts using tools like AutoCAD and Visio.
- Acoustic Modeling: Conduct acoustic analyses using EASE Acoustic Simulation software (advantageous).
Technical Documentation
- Proposal Creation: Draft detailed proposals including Scope of Work (SoW), Operational Narratives, and technical submittals.
- Compliance Reporting: Prepare compliance sheets to ensure adherence to relevant codes and standards.
- Tender Documentation: Assemble comprehensive tender submittals to support competitive bidding.
Sales Support
- Client Engagement: Collaborate with the sales team to present solutions to clients, addressing both technical and non-technical needs.
- Query Resolution: Provide technical support during sales discussions and presentations.
- Site Analysis: Conduct site visits to gather accurate data for proposals and system designs.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Internal Coordination: Work closely with internal teams, including design, purchasing, and project teams, to ensure alignment.
- External Engagement: Coordinate with architects, consultants, and MEP stakeholders to integrate PA, Pro-Audio, and AV solutions into larger projects.
Knowledge Development
- Industry Trends: Stay updated on the latest technologies and trends in PA Systems, Pro-Audio, BGM, and AV solutions.
- Training & Guidance: Provide technical training and support to internal teams as needed.
Key Requirements:
Experience & Education
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years in pre-sales or solution design for PA Systems, Pro-Audio, BGM, AV solutions, or ELV systems.
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Electronics & Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field from a recognized institution.
Technical Expertise
- Core Knowledge: In-depth understanding of PA Systems, PAVA, Pro-Audio, and AV solutions, including system design and integration.
- Tools & Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and familiarity with EASE Acoustic Simulation software (advantageous).
- Standards Compliance: Knowledge of international codes and standards related to PA and AV systems.
