Main Purpose:
The main purpose of this role is to support physical oil products operations and provide trader support. The position coordinates all aspects of post-deal trading activities to ensure the smooth execution of contracts. It also provides necessary commercial and market information to the trader as required.

- Review and comment on contracts/tenders to ensure consistency with the trade ticket/recap.
- Execute daily operational activities.
- Issue voyage orders/LOIs to ship owners.
- Review stowage plans.
- Monitor the progress of the vessel during voyages.
- Appoint third-party providers in line with group policies.
- Obtain clean acceptance of vessels on subjects and notify Chartering of progress.
- Check freight calculations against the charter party and arrange timely payments.
- Coordinate with Finance, providing accurate and timely data needed for issuing L/Cs and obtaining P/Us.
- Issue documentary instructions to suppliers.
- Handle customs export/import operations when applicable.
- Ensure timely invoicing/payment for cargoes.
- Monitor accounts receivables and issue interest invoices where applicable.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract and shipping files (electronically).
- Ensure that Pluto is updated regularly to reflect the latest available information, minimizing exceptions.
- Prepare cargo/charterer liability insurance declarations promptly (where applicable).
- Complete voyage reconciliations to identify loss/gain differences for each operation.
- Monitor and advise the deals desk of all costs related to each transaction (P&L awareness).
- Optimize operations to best commercial advantage while ensuring all contractual obligations are met (e.g., minimizing/maximizing volumes, reducing demurrage exposure).
- Manage storage logistics, complete storage reconciliations, and investigate loss/gain differences.
- Maximize recoveries and ensure all claims to third parties are properly documented and presented. Secure payment for third-party claims.
- Maintain good working relationships with other trade support divisions (claims, deals desk, trade finance, chartering).
- Establish and/or maintain good working relationships with contractual operations counterparts and third-party service providers.
- Follow internal procedures and the company's policies, adhering to Trafigura’s Code of Conduct/HSEC Policy and Business Principles.
- Identify and escalate operational issues to the Regional Manager and seek guidance as needed.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Must have experience working in the AG region.
- At least four years of physical oil operations experience.
- Ability to interpret the operational requirements of each contract and review and comment on operational aspects.
- Good understanding of the basic legal framework supporting oil contracts and charter parties.
- Strong knowledge of common ship operations and terminology.
- Ability to ensure the satisfactory commercial operation of vessels under minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of relevant petroleum product specifications, analytical methods, laboratory precision, and inspection procedures.
- Understanding of different financial instruments, their uses, and the importance of LOIs and shipping documents in the process.

المعرفة والمهارات والقدرات:
- مراجعة التعليقات على العقود والعطاءات لضمان التوافق مع تذكرة التجارة / الملخص.
- تنفيذ الأنشطة التشغيلية اليومية.
- إصدار أوامر الرحلة / خطابات الالتزام (LOI) لمالكي السفن.
- مراجعة خطط التخزين.
- متابعة تقدم السفينة خلال الرحلات.
- تعيين مقدمي الخدمات الخارجيين وفقًا لسياسات المجموعة.
- الحصول على قبول نظيف للسفن على المواضيع وإبلاغ قسم الشحن بالتقدم.
- التحقق من حسابات الشحن مقابل اتفاقية الشحن وترتيب الدفع في الوقت المحدد.
- التنسيق مع الشؤون المالية لتزويدهم بالبيانات الدقيقة وفي الوقت المحدد اللازمة لإصدار خطابات الاعتماد والحصول على P/Us.
- إصدار التعليمات الوثائقية للموردين.
- التعامل مع العمليات الجمركية للتصدير / الاستيراد إذا لزم الأمر.
- ضمان الفوترة / الدفع في الوقت المحدد للشحنات.
- متابعة الحسابات المستحقة وإصدار فواتير الفائدة حيثما ينطبق.
- الحفاظ على سجلات دقيقة وحديثة للعقود والشحنات (إلكترونيًا).
- التأكد من أن "بلوتو" يتم تحديثه بانتظام ليعكس أحدث المعلومات المتاحة وتقليل الاستثناءات.
- إعداد بيانات تأمين المسؤولية على الشحنات / المستأجرين في الوقت المناسب (إذا كان ذلك مناسبًا).
- إتمام التسويات البحرية لتحديد الفروق بين الخسارة / المكاسب لكل عملية.
- متابعة وإبلاغ مكتب التعامل بكل التكاليف المتعلقة بكل صفقة (الوعي بحساب الأرباح والخسائر).
- تحسين العمليات لتحقيق أفضل ميزة تجارية مع التأكد من الوفاء بكافة الالتزامات التعاقدية (مثل تقليل / زيادة الأحجام وتقليل التعرض للتأخير).
- إدارة لوجستيات التخزين وإجراء التسويات الخاصة بالتخزين والتحقيق في الفروق بين الخسارة / المكاسب.
- تعظيم العوائد وضمان توثيق جميع المطالبات من الأطراف الثالثة وتقديمها بشكل صحيح وتأمين دفع مطالبات الأطراف الثالثة.
- الحفاظ على علاقات عمل جيدة مع الأقسام الأخرى ذات الصلة في دعم التجارة (المطالبات، مكتب التعامل، تمويل التجارة، الشحن).
- تأسيس والحفاظ على علاقات عمل جيدة مع نظراء العمليات التعاقدية ومقدمي الخدمات الخارجيين.
- اتباع الإجراءات الداخلية وسياسات الشركة، والامتثال لقواعد السلوك الخاصة بشركة ترافيغورا / سياسة الصحة والسلامة والبيئة والمبادئ التجارية.
- التعرف على القضايا التشغيلية وتصعيدها إلى المدير الإقليمي وطلب التوجيه حسب الحاجة.
المؤهلات والخبرة:
- يجب أن يكون لديك خبرة في العمل في منطقة الخليج العربي.
- خبرة لا تقل عن أربع سنوات في عمليات النفط المادي.
- القدرة على تفسير المتطلبات التشغيلية لكل عقد ومراجعة وتعليق الجوانب التشغيلية له.
- فهم جيد للإطار القانوني الأساسي الذي يدعم عقود النفط وأحزاب الشحن.
- معرفة قوية بعمليات السفن الشائعة والمصطلحات.
- القدرة على ضمان التشغيل التجاري المناسب للسفن تحت إشراف ضئيل.
- معرفة بمواصفات المنتجات النفطية ذات الصلة، وأساليب التحليل، ودقة المختبر، وإجراءات الفحص.
- فهم الأدوات المالية المختلفة واستخداماتها وأهمية LOIs والوثائق البحرية في العملية.
