Trainee Underwriter - UAE National
About the Job
Job Purpose
The Trainee Underwriter will support the underwriting team in assessing and evaluating risks for individual and group health insurance policies. This role is designed to develop the trainee’s skills and knowledge in underwriting, enabling them to contribute effectively to the team and
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in analyzing and evaluating risks for potential clients to determine coverage needs and premium costs.
- Work closely with senior underwriters to learn the principles and practices of underwriting.
- Prepare and review underwriting documentation and reports.
- Support the underwriting team in maintaining accurate records and databases.
- Communicate with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for risk assessment.
- Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance underwriting knowledge and skills.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Must be a UAE National.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Eagerness to learn and develop a career in underwriting.

المسؤوليات الرئيسية
- المساعدة في تحليل وتقييم المخاطر للعملاء المحتملين لتحديد احتياجات التغطية وتكاليف الأقساط.
- العمل عن كثب مع الاكتتابين ذوي الخبرة لتعلم مبادئ وممارسات الاكتتاب.
- إعداد ومراجعة الوثائق وتقارير الاكتتاب.
- دعم فريق الاكتتاب في الحفاظ على السجلات وقواعد البيانات الدقيقة.
- التواصل مع العملاء والوكلاء وأصحاب المصلحة الآخرين لجمع المعلومات اللازمة لتقييم المخاطر.
- المشاركة في برامج التدريب وورش العمل لتعزيز معرفة ومهارات الاكتتاب.
- ضمان الامتثال لسياسات الشركة والتنظيمات والمعايير الصناعية.
المؤهلات
- يجب أن يكون مواطن إماراتي.
- درجة البكالريوس في الأعمال أو المالية أو التأمين أو مجال ذي صلة.
- مهارات تحليلية وحل المشكلات قوية.
- مهارات تواصل شخصية وكتابية ممتازة.
- إجادة استخدام مجموعة Microsoft Office (Word، Excel، PowerPoint).
- دقة في التفاصيل مع القدرة على إدارة عدة مهام بفعالية.
