Senior HSE Engineer
Location: Fujairah, UAE
Reports to: Director HSE
Salary: AED 22,000 – AED 30,000 Gross + Annual Air Ticket for self and family (spouse and 2 kids) + Medical insurance coverage for self and family (spouse and 2 kids) + Children’s Education allowance for 2 kids.
Job Role:
As a Senior HSE Officer, you will provide expert guidance in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management. In this role, you will serve as a key member of the HSE team as this role requires a blend of technical knowledge, leadership abilities, and strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
The Senior HSE Officer’s role is critical for ensuring the safe and compliant oversight of change within the organization, particularly focusing on aspects that may impact health, safety, and the environment. The role demands a deep understanding of Operational Management of Change (MOC), risk management, and asset integrity processes, with a strong emphasis on ensuring that safety, health, and environmental risks are thoroughly evaluated and mitigated in a structured, practical, and demonstrable manner.
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering – Chemical, Mechanical, Process, Physics, Marine, Science, etc.
- NEBOSH IGC, CMIOSH (CSP), IOSH, OSHA, or other relevant International HSE certifications
- Certified Incident and Accident Investigator – Demonstrable experience required
- Certified Risk Assessor and Facilitator – Demonstrable experience required
- Certified (IRCA) – 45001, 14001, and 9001
Experience:
- Minimum of 7–10 years of broad HSE, Risk, and compliance experience, with at least 5 years in a similar senior or supervisory role.
- Experience working in [specific industry, e.g., marine, construction, oil and gas (MHF’s), and manufacturing] is highly preferred.
Essential Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
- Demonstrably adaptable, self-motivated, committed, and able to work unsupervised effectively.
- Excellent communication, influencing, presentation, and report-writing skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with Six Sigma (Desired).
- Ability to mentor, train, and influence others.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Strong and demonstrable abilities in adapting to change and conflicting priorities.
- Strong leadership and collaborative approach to conflict resolution.
- Strong understanding of HSE MS Systemization and key IT interfaces.

بصفتك مهندس HSE أول، ستقدم الإرشادات المتخصصة في إدارة الصحة والسلامة والبيئة (HSE). في هذا الدور، ستكون عضوًا رئيسيًا في فريق HSE، حيث يتطلب هذا الدور مزيجًا من المعرفة التقنية والقدرات القيادية والمهارات الشخصية والتأثيرية.
دور مهندس HSE أول حاسم لضمان الإشراف الآمن والمتوافق مع التغيرات داخل المنظمة، مع التركيز بشكل خاص على الجوانب التي قد تؤثر على الصحة والسلامة والبيئة. يتطلب هذا الدور فهمًا عميقًا لإدارة التغيير التشغيلي (MOC)، وإدارة المخاطر، وعمليات نزاهة الأصول، مع التركيز على ضمان تقييم المخاطر الصحية والسلامة والبيئة بشكل شامل والتخفيف منها بطريقة منظمة وقابلة للتنفيذ.
المؤهلات العلمية والشهادات:
- درجة البكاليروس في العلوم أو الهندسة – كيميائية، ميكانيكية، عمليات، فيزياء، بحرية، علوم، إلخ.
- شهادة NEBOSH IGC، CMIOSH (CSP)، IOSH، OSHA أو أي شهادات HSE دولية أخرى ذات صلة.
- شهادة محقق حوادث وحوادث – خبرة قابلة للإثبات مطلوبة.
- شهادة مقيّم ومنظم المخاطر – خبرة قابلة للإثبات مطلوبة.
- شهادة (IRCA) – 45001، 14001، و9001.
الخبرة:
- خبرة لا تقل عن 7 إلى 10 سنوات في HSE، المخاطر، والامتثال، مع 5 سنوات على الأقل في دور مشابه أو إشرافي.
- يفضل الخبرة في [صناعة معينة، مثل البحرية، البناء، النفط والغاز (MHF’s)، التصنيع].
المهارات والقدرات الأساسية:
- معرفة قوية بأنظمة HSE، المعايير الصناعية، وأفضل الممارسات.
- قابلية التكيف، دافع ذاتي، ملتزم، وقادر على العمل بفعالية دون إشراف.
- مهارات تواصل وتأثير وتقديم تقارير ممتازة.
- مهارات حل المشكلات والتحليل قوية.
- خبرة في Six Sigma (مفضل).
- القدرة على الإرشاد، التدريب، وتأثير الآخرين.
- دقة وتنظيم ممتاز.
- مهارات قيادية وشخصية قوية.
- القدرة على التكيف مع التغيير والأولويات المتضاربة.
- نهج قوي في القيادة وحل النزاعات.
- فهم قوي لأنظمة HSE والواجهات التكنولوجية الرئيسية.
