Bending Operator

Responsibilities:

• Set up machinery for operation.

• Start machinery and make adjustments when necessary to improve performance.

• Operate machinery and equipment according to instructions.

• Troubleshoot issues and perform machine maintenance, keeping updated maintenance records.

• Perform quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor.

• Keep records and update raw materials, semi-finished goods, and job orders.

• Ensure system stock matches actual stock, record any differences with bill of material, and report to production engineer.

• Recommend process improvements, share ideas, and communicate suggestions to management.

• Identify and create non-conformity/scrap reports for rejected materials.
