About the Job
Job Purpose: Providing ambulance services to patients at the incident site, transporting patients safely to hospitals to receive further treatment, providing coverage for Abu Dhabi activities and events, responding to major accidents, triaging injured patients and transporting them to hospitals, and documenting all these cases.

• Cleans and sterilizes the ambulance vehicle

• Receives the ambulance at the beginning of the shift; ensures it is clean and ready to receive reports

• Receives the Hytera device at the beginning of the shift and logs in

• Receives the EPCR device at the start of the shift and signs in

• Checks the readiness and suitability of devices, equipment, and consumables inside the ambulance

• Ensures the availability of medicines according to approved numbers and verifies their validity

Job Tasks

1. Responsible for achieving medical quality and patient safety

2. Understands and applies medical policies

3. Understands and applies medical protocol

4. Fights infection control

5. Understands how to safely deal with persons in distress and protect the public from further harm

6. Understands how to keep the victim calm and control overwhelming emotions when needed

7. Understands how to provide emotional support and practical assistance

8. Evaluates situations requiring emotional and psychological support

9. Performs primary and secondary assessment of the injured in the field

10. Evaluates the general medical condition of the patient/injured person

11. Handles all critical, life-threatening injury cases and clinical evaluations

12. Deals with all critical medical cases

13. Provides parenteral nutrition through intravenous (IV) or intraosseous (IO) needles

14. Handles childbirth cases and the use of an incubator

15. Deals with all cases of children’s injuries

16. Handles all medical cases of children

17. Performs advanced ECG and analyses it

18. Uses basic and advanced tools to open the airway and performs Advanced Airway Management

19. Provides basic and advanced first aid for cardiac arrest cases

20. Actively participates in the professional development of self and others

المهام الوظيفية:

• فهم الأخلاقيات المهنية.

• فهم النظام الإداري.

• التعرف على جودة الرعاية الطبية وسلامة المرضى.

• فهم وتطبيق السياسات الطبية.

• فهم وتطبيق البروتوكولات الطبية.

• التعامل المهني مع الأدوية.

• ارتداء معدات الحماية الشخصية.

• تنظيف وتعقيم مركبة الإسعاف.

• استلام مركبة الإسعاف في بداية الوردية وضمان نظافتها وجاهزيتها لتلقي البلاغات.

• استلام جهاز Hytera في بداية الوردية وتسجيل الدخول.

• استلام جهاز (EPCR) في بداية الوردية والتسجيل.

• فحص جاهزية ومناسبة الأجهزة والمعدات والمواد الاستهلاكية داخل المركبة.

• التأكد من توفر الأدوية وفق الأعداد المعتمدة وصلاحيتها.

13. تقديم التغذية الوريدية عن طريق الإبر الوريدية (IV) أو إبر العظام (IO).

14. التعامل مع حالات الولادة واستخدام الحاضنة.

15. التعامل مع جميع حالات إصابات الأطفال.

16. التعامل مع جميع الحالات الطبية للأطفال.

17. إجراء تخطيط القلب الكهربائي المتقدم (ECG) وتحليله.

18. استخدام أدوات أساسية ومتقدمة لفتح مجرى الهواء وإدارة مجرى الهواء المتقدم.

19. تقديم الإسعافات الأولية الأساسية والمتقدمة لحالات توقف القلب.

20. المشاركة الفعالة في تطوير المهني الذاتي والآخرين.
