About the Job
We are looking for a talented Student Recruitment Officer to join the American University in the Emirates. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating all activities related to student recruitment, providing advice, guidance, and assistance throughout the application and admissions process.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Media and Communication, or related field
- Must be bilingual (fluent in both English and Arabic)
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in student recruitment and enrollment at a reputable university
Skills / Training / Knowledge
- Knowledge of multiple-point marketing strategies (P2P, B2B, Online, and Traditional Media)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken in Arabic and English
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Working knowledge of the UAE higher education sector
Job Responsibilities
- Welcoming new students to the university and dealing with student and parent inquiries
- Conducting university tours to familiarize new students with the AUE campus, departments, and services
- Participating in local and international education career exhibitions
- Conducting professional presentations to various stakeholders in the UAE and the Middle East
- Handling and processing new student application files
- Organizing orientation sessions for new students through presentations, workshops, and various activities
- Planning and coordinating the university calendar of events and log book maintenance and data entry
- Onboarding new students, ensuring all student-related needs are properly arranged (housing, visa, tuition fee payment, etc.)
- Practicing high standards of customer service with students, parents, school principals, and teachers
- Identifying and securing funding from various sources to support the university’s mission
- Cultivating relationships with current and prospective donors to ensure continued engagement and support
- Performing any other duties assigned by superiors

Skills / Training / Knowledge
- Proven ability to produce video content for various platforms, including websites and social media
- Creative problem-solving skills for specific marketing challenges

Job Responsibilities
- Plan, film, and edit video content based on event schedules and project briefs

- Operate professional equipment to capture high-quality footage, ensuring proper framing, lighting, and sound
- Add graphics, animations, and special effects as needed

- Provide video coverage at all university events
- Support advancement and fundraising efforts by developing strategies to secure funding sources in collaboration with the university’s team
