Telecommunications Technician
Qualifications:

High School education with 3–6 years of experience (or commensurate experience)

Clearance Required: Secret

Minimum 2 years’ lead-level practical experience in shop practices, installations, repair, troubleshooting, or maintenance of communications systems or equipment

Ability to solve complex problems, understand circuit interrelationships, and exercise independent judgment

Expertise in maintaining/troubleshooting Motorola and other LMR equipment (communications consoles, repeaters, SRX-2200, XTS-5000, hand-held radios, trunked/non-trunked LMR systems, key loaders, antennas, multi-couplers, duplexers, test equipment, digital recording, over-the-air keying equipment, site controllers)

Qualified to install LMR base stations, repeaters, and mobile radios

Experience in LMR shop operations and management in a large-scale LMR shop; familiar with equipment tracking databases

System Administrator
Responsibilities:
-
Maintain smooth operation of computer systems, including OS, software, and hardware in networked or stand-alone configurations

Maintain system integrity and perform system/server upgrades

Create and document new operational methods and implement procedural changes

Consult with support teams, help desks, customers, and technical staff to resolve issues
-
Coordinate and perform network/server operation and maintenance

Identify recurring problems and recommend mitigation steps

Plan for transition of development/production environments to new technologies

Monitor system performance, manage data for efficiency, and determine server installation methods
Experience & Requirements:

Responsibilities:

Serve as the single TO focal point/interface to the C-PM

Ensure contractor deployed workforce complies with host nation customs and laws

Interface with host nation sponsor to verify workforce meets entry/exit criteria and maintains required credentials

Ensure workforce quality of life support services (housing, transportation, communications) are provided

Ensure contractor workforce follows TO-specific contractual requirements (SOW/PWS)

Manage and oversee contractor workforce execution and performance of TO requirements

Attend command-level meetings at designated TO location(s)
