The Role
We are seeking a dedicated Functional Application Administrator to support and lead the successful implementation and operation of our tailor-made Ship Maintenance Management System (SMMS). You will serve as the go-to expert for both users and stakeholders, ensuring that this mission-critical system is optimized and embraced across the fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the rollout and support of SMMS, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions
- Build a comprehensive knowledge base and training materials to support end users
- Manage and resolve user inquiries efficiently while maintaining a high level of support
- Develop and execute a user communication strategy to provide updates and best practices
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, technical teams, and crew members onboard
- Conduct vessel visits as required to train, support, and gather feedback from users
- Ensure that the SMMS remains stable and effective to avoid vessel downtime
Requirements
- Experience in application administration or digital systems support, preferably in maritime or technical operations
- Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service mindset with a proactive approach
- Willingness and ability to travel to vessels as needed
- Ability to coordinate across departments and manage multiple priorities
- Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus

المسؤوليات الرئيسية
- قيادة عملية طرح ودعم SMMS، وضمان انتقالات سلسة وتقليل الانقطاعات
- بناء قاعدة معرفية شاملة ومواد تدريبية لدعم المستخدمين النهائيين
- إدارة استفسارات المستخدمين وحلها بكفاءة مع الحفاظ على مستوى عالٍ من الدعم
- تطوير وتنفيذ استراتيجية اتصال المستخدم لتوفير التحديثات وأفضل الممارسات
- التنسيق مع أصحاب المصلحة الداخليين والفرق الفنية وأعضاء الطاقم على متن الطائرة
- إجراء زيارات للسفن حسب الحاجة للتدريب والدعم وجمع التعليقات من المستخدمين
- تأكد من أن نظام إدارة السلامة البحرية (SMMS) يظل مستقرًا وفعالًا لتجنب تعطل السفينة
متطلبات
- خبرة في إدارة التطبيقات أو دعم الأنظمة الرقمية، ويفضل أن تكون في العمليات البحرية أو الفنية
- مهارات ممتازة في التواصل والتدريب والتعامل مع الآخرين
- عقلية قوية لخدمة العملاء مع نهج استباقي
- الاستعداد والقدرة على السفر إلى السفن حسب الحاجة
- القدرة على التنسيق بين الإدارات وإدارة الأولويات المتعددة
- إتقان اللغة الإنجليزية؛ المهارات اللغوية الإضافية تعتبر ميزة إضافية
