1-Country Manager GCC Countries

Task Responsibilities

Leading and enhancing the GCC team with the regional CV office based at DWC plus a CV office in Doha.

Managing the GSA’s in Bahrain, Oman and Saudi Arabia.

Being responsible for sales and administration for Cargolux Airlines in the GCC countries.

Plan and execute sales and other commercial activities to meet corporate revenue, tonnage, and yield objectives.

Structural analysis of market trends, identification of bottle necks and opportunities and anticipate and formulate the impact on business according to economic and political conditions.

Periodic communication with customers to ensure visibility and awareness of Cargolux’s Network, Products, value-added services, and opportunities.

Maintain and develop productive business relationships with freight forwarders, consolidators, cargo agents and other parties.

Planning and executing of periodic customer visits and follow up through CRM reporting.

Promote Cargolux’s digital sales channels; set targets and liaise feedback.

Securing CV's financial interest with forwarders and handling agents.

Monitoring handling agents' performance and recommending changes if necessary

Ensuring all Cargolux policies and procedures are followed.

Essential Requirements For The Position

At least 10-15 years of experience in a sales position

Minimum 10 years of experience within the air cargo industry with a major airline or forwarder

Minimum 5 years of experience at a management (senior) level

Have excellent knowledge and experience in the air cargo industry.

Have highly developed skills in interacting with people of various cultural backgrounds, in integrating and building groups.

Ability to manage and lead a team in a multicultural environment.

Excellent interpersonal skills

Strong written and oral communication skills

Ability to deal with ambiguity and change within a fast-paced environment.

Be able to deal with tight deadlines.

Be assertive and able to work independently.

Be fluent in English (oral/written)

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Working Conditions

A Certificate of good conduct will be required in case of positive selection.

Occasional travel required within the entire Cargolux network.

Position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
