Civils Inspector
Responsible for inspection of all civil structures including bridges, underpasses, culverts, embankments, service roads, sand mitigation systems, and fences along the railway corridor. Ensure integrity of all structures and civil assets at all times.
Liaise with the Civil Reliability Supervisor to execute all inspection tasks. Ensure assets are maintained according to standards. Conduct all work safely and in full adherence to safe systems of work, company policies, and rules.
Train Controller
Responsible for the safe and efficient movement of trains on the ER network, ensuring continuity during disruptions. Requires strong communication, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure.
Promote safe working conditions, ensure compliance with rules and procedures, coordinate train movements according to plan, direct and monitor rail traffic, issue permits and movement authorities, and maintain computerized records of all activities.
Operations Manager
Provide professional leadership and technical oversight across main line and non-main line driving operations, ground staff activities, and depot control functions. Ensure safe, efficient, and compliant execution of operational activities while promoting best practices.
Lead and manage teams of train drivers and ground staff. Oversee technical and operational reviews of train sets, wagons, loading operations, and depot procedures. Implement service delivery documentation including timetables, driver rosters, and shunting plans. Ensure staff competence and compliance at all times.
Trucking Competence Specialist
Report to the Senior Safety Manager to improve, maintain, and monitor professional driving standards of ERF heavy vehicle drivers. Focus on driver competence, development, and behavioural safety.
Conduct structured on-road and yard-based driver assessments. Observe vehicle handling, reversing, loading practices, and hazard perception. Assess compliance with transport legislation and ERF procedures. Identify unsafe behaviours and implement corrective improvement plans. Support a professional, disciplined, and safety-focused driving culture.
Terminal Manager
Plan, manage, and supervise dry port terminal operations to maximize efficiency and effectiveness while adhering to Etihad Rail policies. Consider commercial, safety, and operational factors in all planning.
Define facility strategy and ensure compliance. Plan facility activities and procedures based on terminal structure, operations, and equipment. Optimize productivity through traffic rules and capacity management. Plan handling of general cargo and break bulk efficiently. Ensure damage-free loading of containers, aggregates, and other products.
