The Lecturer / Senior Lecturer is expected to meet professional and institutional commitments on a regular basis throughout the academic year. This includes teaching, curriculum design and development, course preparation, student learning assessment, and instructional delivery.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach assigned General Education courses, including Communication Skills in Arabic (for Arab and non-Arab students), UAE Society, Islamic Culture, and Ethics
- Perform tasks assigned by the head of department
- Provide academic advising and guidance to students
- Perform related administrative activities
- Refer students to counselors as needed
- Keep students informed about their progress through prompt grading of papers and other work
