Responsibilities
- Assist the department manager in reviewing required materials for selection and acquisition, recommending a wide range of books, periodicals, and audio-visual materials.
- Lend learning resources to students and staff.
- Organize and maintain assigned collections.
- Make suggestions regarding weeding, mending, and replacing materials according to college library policies.
- Assist in developing and presenting a wide range of library programming.
- Coordinate with the Manager of the Learning Resources.
Requirements
- Proven experience in library management or academic libraries.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of library cataloging systems and resource management.
- Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
