Allied Health Internship Program

Responsibilities:

Report any unusual incidents occurring during duty such as patient safety events (clinical events) and near misses, according to hospital policy
Assist with patient assessments, preparation, and treatment protocols under the supervision of licensed clinicians
Assist in the setup, maintenance, and cleaning of medical equipment and therapy tools used in daily patient care
Adhere to the internship regulations of the hospital
Observe a variety of procedures, treatments, and therapies in different allied health disciplines, including physical therapy and speech therapy
Follow guidelines/practices of infection control
Participate in disaster drills and related mandatory training
Be aware of key performance indicators, especially those related to patient care outcomes

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

Curriculum Vitae (CV): A detailed CV highlighting educational qualifications, prior experience (if applicable), and professional skills
Other Relevant Documents: Any supporting documents related to the intern's academic achievements, certifications, or previous clinical experience

Health Care Assistant – Med/Surg

Responsibilities:

Weighing of ambulatory patients
Cleaning up after procedures, treating used instruments as per standard precautions
Checks and stocks supply rooms as designated by team leader
Assists with the maintenance of a clean, safe environment
Demonstrates sensitivity to patients’ comfort and privacy and expresses interest in their progress
Utilizes and ensures maintenance of equipment and instruments, reporting any damages or malfunctioning to the Bio-Medical department and nurse in charge immediately, including quality control checks on refrigerators and monitoring of room temperatures
Undertakes a range of clinical support functions including preparing and stocking clinical areas in line with protocols
Accompany patients for X-ray procedures, ECG, CT Scan
Accompany Physician during physical examination
Participates in nursing continuous quality improvement initiatives, in-service education programs, unit meetings, and committee functions as assigned by nurse in charge

Nursing Internship Program

Responsibilities:

Assists physicians as directed with examinations, procedures, and other processes related to direct patient care
Develops acceptable standard of documentation, participating in monthly auditing activities and completing documentation until initial six months or agreed training period is complete and SHA license granted
Under the supervision of the staff/charge nurse, documents the nursing care of each patient from admission to discharge in accordance with facility medical record and documentation policy
Assists and provides documented patient and family health education, based upon the individual nursing care plan of the patient
Ensures patient environment is safe for patients and staff by utilizing infection control practices, adhering to international patient safety goals, and following facility health and safety policies
Collaborates with the multi-disciplinary team and acts as patient advocate to ensure quality care is delivered

Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing holding a BSc Nursing
Minimum 2 years post-graduation experience with at least 1 year in current specialty (IVF department)

Desirable:

BLS certificate

Licenses / Registration:

Current license in country of origin
UAE Ministry of Health License
BLS certificate within three months of employment

Position Criteria / Other Skills / Abilities:

2 years post-graduate experience
Computer literate, familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel
Must be fluent in written and spoken English; spoken Arabic an advantage
Previous UAE experience advantageous
Experience in a commissioning environment advantageous
Experience of working in internationally accredited hospitals (JCIA) advantageous

تقديم التعليم الصحي الموثق للمرضى وعائلاتهم بناءً على خطة الرعاية التمريضية للفرد.
ضمان بيئة آمنة للمرضى والموظفين باستخدام ممارسات مكافحة العدوى والالتزام بأهداف سلامة المرضى والسياسات الصحية والسلامة في المنشأة.
التعاون مع الفريق متعدد التخصصات والعمل كمدافع عن المرضى لضمان تقديم رعاية عالية الجودة.

ممرضة وحدة التلقيح الصناعي (IVF)

المتطلبات والمؤهلات:

خريجة مدرسة تمريض معتمدة حاصلة على بكالوريوس في التمريض.
خبرة لا تقل عن سنتين بعد التخرج، مع سنة واحدة على الأقل في التخصص الحالي (قسم IVF).
شهادة BLS مفضلة.
ترخيص ساري في بلد المنشأ.
ترخيص وزارة الصحة الإماراتية.
ضمن أول ثلاثة أشهر من التوظيف: شهادة BLS.

المهارات والقدرات الأخرى:

خبرة سنتين بعد التخرج.
إجادة استخدام الحاسوب وبرامج Microsoft Word وExcel.
الطلاقة في اللغة الإنجليزية كتابةً ومحادثة، والعربية ميزة إضافية.
يفضل الخبرة السابقة في الإمارات، أو العمل في بيئة إعداد التجهيزات، أو في مستشفى معتمد دوليًا (JCIA).
المشاركة في برامج التدريب أو الإشراف على المتدربين.
المعرفة بأحدث ممارسات التمريض المبنية على الأدلة.
القدرة على التعاون مع الزملاء والعمل في بيئة متعددة الثقافات.
مهارات أساسية في إدارة البيانات والتحليل.
