Senior Civil Engineer

Job Description

The Civil Engineer reports to the Resident Engineer on site on a full-time or part-time basis. He will communicate directly with the Civil/Structural design staff regarding technical queries.

The Civil Engineer works as a Structural Site Engineer and is responsible for reviewing submittals, shop drawings, test results, design coordination, weekly/monthly reports, and managing fieldwork, supervision, inspections, and coordination.

Experience in high-rise buildings, villa construction projects, industrial establishments, substructure work, piling and shoring, site documentation, structural steel, and managing site QA/QC makes him competitive as an Engineer.

Qualifications

• BSc Civil Engineering

• ADM or DM approval unlimited is a plus

• Total experience 12+ years, with at least 5 years in consultancy

HSE Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Actively participate in site meetings including HSE.

• Develop and implement an effective HSE proactive monitoring program (joint inspections, audits, fire safety audits, reports, and presentations).

• Participate in incident investigations and ensure statutory reports (ADOSH-SF) are submitted to the appropriate authorities.

• Review and submit monthly HSE reports to project management including KPIs, analysis, and trends.

• Prepare and disseminate HSE alerts using client-approved templates.

• Monitor and evaluate the HSE performance and behavior of the main contractor.

• Promote a positive safety culture at the site.

Key Responsibilities
