Civil / Finishing Engineer

Location: UAE

Employment Type: 2-year engagement

Role Purpose

The Civil / Finishing Engineer will plan, supervise, and execute civil, structural, renovation, and finishing works within commercial and residential buildings. The role ensures maintenance and project activities are executed safely, efficiently, and aligned with quality standards, building codes, and operational requirements.

Main Responsibilities

Supervise daily civil and finishing maintenance activities (carpentry, masonry, tiling, painting, plastering, roofing, flooring, façade, etc.)
Conduct routine inspections to identify wear, defects, and corrective actions
Ensure execution of planned preventive maintenance (PPM)
Monitor building elements such as walls, ceilings, partitions, doors, windows, floors, and facades
Plan and execute refurbishment, renovation, and fit-out works
Review project documents: drawings, BOQs, and material submittals
Ensure timely delivery of work within approved budgets and schedules
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers
Prepare snag lists and supervise defect resolution

Data Architect

Main Responsibilities

Design and implement enterprise-wide data architectures
Define enterprise data domains and semantic models
Develop data strategies and roadmaps
Document current and target architecture states across all architecture domains
Engage with stakeholders to ensure knowledge transfer
Oversee governance and quality frameworks for data management
Facilitate data integration processes, including ETL/ELT
Manage metadata and master data to ensure consistency across platforms

Key Requirements

In-depth knowledge of data modeling, data governance, and data quality frameworks
Experience in defining enterprise data domains and semantic models
Ability to design enterprise-wide data architectures and modern data platforms
Familiarity with ETL/ELT, metadata, and master data management
8+ years of experience in respective architecture domain
Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, etc.)
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills

Nutanix Resident Engineer – AUH

Must Haves

5+ years’ experience in system administration and virtualization technologies
Strong knowledge of Nutanix AOS/AHV, VMware ESXi, and Hyper-V
Ability to analyze and diagnose complex problems independently
Nutanix certified engineer capable of handling day-2 operations (administration, upgrades, integrations)
Ability to deploy Nutanix clusters and scale infrastructure
Experience migrating from VMware to Nutanix environments
Familiarity with Cisco and Dell hardware stacks
Excellent communication and customer-centric approach

Nice to Haves

VMware certifications (VCP or VCAP)
Nutanix NCP certification
Experience in workload migrations (P2V, V2V)
Understanding of storage and data protection technologies
Exposure to automation and scripting (Python/PowerShell)

Main Responsibilities

Assess current usage of Nutanix products and drive adoption
Ensure good customer experience with Nutanix environment administration
Installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching of Nutanix products
Migrate from 3-tier to Nutanix and across hypervisors (ESXi to AHV)
Monitor alerts and proactively remediate issues
Troubleshoot performance and availability problems
Capacity planning, reporting, and VM lifecycle management
Mentor junior team members and liaise with support/vendors
Automate administrative tasks and conduct PoCs for Nutanix portfolio products
Train and enable customer resources

Project Specialist – Construction & Interior Fit-Out (UAE)

Mandatory Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
5–10 years UAE-based experience in construction and interior fit-out projects
Hands-on site experience across civil, fit-out, and MEP coordination
Strong experience in interior fit-out execution (finishes, joinery, MEP interface)
Proven experience in planning and scheduling (MS Project, Primavera)
Experience in cost control, budgeting, procurement, and contract administration
Ability to read and interpret IFC drawings, shop drawings, RCPs, and specifications
Understanding of UAE authority regulations and approval processes
Valid UAE Driving Licence (mandatory)

المسؤوليات الرئيسية:

الإشراف على أنشطة الصيانة اليومية وأعمال التشطيبات (النجارة، البناء، البلاط، الدهانات، الجبس، الأسقف، الأرضيات، الواجهات)
إجراء التفتيش الدوري لتحديد الأعطال واتخاذ الإجراءات التصحيحية
تنفيذ الصيانة الوقائية المخططة (PPM)
متابعة عناصر المبنى مثل الجدران، الأسقف، الأبواب، النوافذ، الأرضيات، والواجهات الخارجية
