Knowledge and Experience

ATC license holder or equivalent from a recognized ANSP with 5–7 years of experience

Experience in ATC operations, with a solid understanding of ATC procedures, airspace structures, and capacity management principles

Knowledge of ATFM concepts, including demand-capacity balancing, contingency planning, and CDM
-
Familiarity with ATFM tools, systems, and processes, with the ability to analyze and implement traffic flow solutions

Proven ability to coordinate effectively with air traffic supervisors, airports, airlines, and other stakeholders

Serves as a primary subject matter expert, responsible for interpreting, advising on, and ensuring the authority's compliance with Federal and International Aviation Law

Provides independent, specialized legal counsel on regulatory matters, assists in the drafting of core aviation legislation, and manages the legal components of enforcement actions and regulatory litigation to safeguard GCAA's interests

Acts as the primary legal advisor and subject matter expert for GCAA's internal business operations

Drafts, negotiates, and manages all corporate contracts and commercial agreements, ensuring compliance with federal laws

Provides legal counsel on internal policies, procurement, finance, and human resource matters to protect the authority's corporate interests and minimize financial and legal exposure
