Land / Marine Surveyor

About the Job / Overview

Applied Technology and Management (ATM), a Geosyntec Company, is looking for a Land / Marine Surveyor with at least 5 years of experience to join our project site management team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Apply your surveying and site supervision skills to projects involving utilities, roads, and structures.

Key Responsibilities

Provide surveying and site supervision for utilities, roads, and structural projects
Deliver innovative, environmentally sensitive, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of engineers, analysts, designers, and scientists
Ensure compliance with project specifications, local regulations, and international standards

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience

Planning Engineer

Education and Licensure

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Coastal, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering (required)
Advanced degree in Civil, Coastal, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering (preferred)

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

At least 5 years of related experience overseeing coastal, marine, geotechnical, and structural engineering and construction projects
Knowledgeable of Primavera Enterprise Systems (P6) scheduling technology
Strong oral and technical writing skills
Experience with international design standards including Eurocode and British Standards, as well as local regulations

Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Conduct geotechnical investigations and analyses (slope stability, settlement, bearing capacity, seismic)
Perform site characterization and review factual design reports, borehole logs, and laboratory testing
Prepare foundation and pile design, ground improvement recommendations
Develop engineering solutions to challenging structural and geotechnical problems
Coordinate with marine and structural teams on projects
Oversee waterfront structure and marine infrastructure projects
Design harbors, marinas, vessel mooring and berthing structures, bulkheads, seawalls, breakwaters, shore protection structures, shoreline stabilization, and sediment management
Manage instrumentation monitoring systems, small projects, and proposal support
Prepare engineering reports, design calculations, drawings, technical specifications, and permit applications
Attend client and regulatory authority meetings

Marine and Structural Inspectors

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

High school diploma with minimum 6 years of experience, or Diploma with 4 years, or Bachelor’s degree with 2 years experience, or equivalent combination
Technical understanding of site investigation, construction quality assurance, and/or construction management for marine, structural, and coastal projects
Ability to monitor multiple types of construction activities simultaneously
Experience with Windows-based software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
Excellent writing skills and detail orientation
Ability to lift/move up to 20 kg unaided, 21–45 kg with assistance

Resident Engineer – Marine and Coastal Engineering

Education and Licensure

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Coastal, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering (required)
Advanced degree (preferred)
Professional Engineer license (required)

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

At least 8 years of experience overseeing coastal, marine, geotechnical, and structural engineering projects
Experience managing permitting, planning, compliance, and oversight of coastal projects
Experience managing project delivery including planning, financial management, change management, risk management, contractor management, and contract/subcontract management
Strong oral and technical writing skills
Experience with international geotechnical design standards including Eurocode

مهندس تخطيط – Planning Engineer

المتطلبات:

بكالوريوس في الهندسة المدنية، الساحلية، الهيكلية أو الجيوتقنية.
يفضل درجة متقدمة في الهندسة المدنية، الساحلية، الهيكلية أو الجيوتقنية.
خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في الإشراف على مشاريع الهندسة الساحلية، البحرية، الجيوتقنية، والهياكل.
معرفة بأنظمة الجدولة Primavera Enterprise Systems (P6) وتطبيقها الفعّال في المشاريع.
مهارات قوية في الكتابة التقنية والتواصل الشفوي.
خبرة بالمعايير الدولية مثل Eurocode والمعايير البريطانية والممارسات الصناعية واللوائح المحلية.

مهندس جيولوجي أول – Senior Geotechnical Engineer

المسؤوليات الرئيسية:

إجراء التحقيقات الجيوتقنية والتحليلات مثل استقرار المنحدرات، الهبوط، قدرة التحمل، والزلازل.
توصيف الموقع والتحليل الجيوتقني.
مراجعة تقارير التصميم الفعلية، سجلات الحفر، والاختبارات المخبرية.
إعداد مواصفات التحقيقات الميدانية والتقارير التفسيرية.
إعداد تصميم الأساسات والأعمدة وتقديم توصيات تحسين التربة.
تطوير حلول هندسية للتحديات الجيوتقنية والهياكل.
التنسيق مع فرق المشاريع البحرية والهياكل.
الإشراف على مشاريع المنشآت الساحلية والبنية التحتية البحرية.
تصميم وتنفيذ مشاريع الموانئ، المراسي، الأرصفة، الحواجز، الجدران البحرية، ومشاريع حماية الشواطئ واستقرار الخط الساحلي.
إدارة أنظمة مراقبة الأجهزة.
إدارة المشاريع الصغيرة ودعم إعداد العروض.
إعداد تقارير هندسية وحسابات التصميم والرسومات والمواصفات الفنية وطلبات التصاريح.
حضور الاجتماعات مع العملاء والسلطات التنظيمية.

مفتشو المشاريع البحرية والهيكلية – Marine and Structural Inspectors

المتطلبات:

شهادة ثانوية أو GED مع خبرة عملية لا تقل عن 6 سنوات، أو دبلوم سنتين مع خبرة 4 سنوات، أو بكالوريوس في الهندسة المدنية أو البحرية أو الجيوتقنية أو الهيكلية مع خبرة سنتين.
فهم تقني لإجراءات التحقيق في المواقع وضمان جودة البناء وإدارة البناء للمشاريع البحرية والهيكلية والساحلية.
القدرة على متابعة عدة أنشطة بناء مختلفة في وقت واحد.
إجادة استخدام تطبيقات Windows مثل Word وExcel وOutlook وAccess.
مهارات كتابة ممتازة ودقة في التفاصيل.
القدرة على رفع أو نقل أوزان تصل إلى 20 كجم بدون مساعدة و21–45 كجم بمساعدة أو أدوات هندسية مناسبة.

مهندس مقيم – الهندسة البحرية والساحلية – Resident Engineer

المتطلبات:

بكالوريوس في الهندسة المدنية، الساحلية، الهيكلية أو الجيوتقنية.
يفضل درجة متقدمة في الهندسة المدنية، الساحلية، الهيكلية أو الجيوتقنية.
رخصة مهندس محترف.
خبرة لا تقل عن 8 سنوات في الإشراف على مشاريع الهندسة الساحلية والبحرية والجيوتقنية والهياكل.
خبرة في إدارة التصاريح، التخطيط، الامتثال والإشراف على المشاريع الساحلية.
القدرة على إدارة تسليم المشاريع بشكل كامل بما في ذلك التخطيط، الإدارة المالية، إدارة التغيير، إدارة المخاطر، إدارة المقاولين وإدارة العقود/العقود الفرعية.
مهارات قوية في الكتابة التقنية والتواصل الشفوي.
خبرة بالمعايير الدولية للتصميم الجيوتقني مثل Eurocode.
