Home Caregiver

Job Purpose:
The Home Health Care Caregiver is responsible for assisting patients with their daily living activities, providing personal care, and supporting their overall well-being in a home environment. The caregiver ensures patient comfort and safety while following care plans and company protocols under the supervision of nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care & Assistance: Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding. Provide mobility support (transfers, ambulation, positioning, and exercises as instructed). Support patients with medication reminders as per nursing/physician guidance.
Monitoring & Reporting: Observe and report any changes in the patient’s condition, mood, or behavior to the Nurse Coordinator promptly. Record patient care activities and maintain accurate daily logs. Report emergencies, incidents, or safety concerns immediately.
Companionship & Emotional Support: Provide companionship and engage patients in social and recreational activities as appropriate. Offer emotional support to patients and families.
Household Assistance: Assist with light housekeeping related to patient care (e.g., cleaning patient area, changing linens, maintaining hygiene). Prepare simple meals and assist patients with eating if required.
Compliance & Safety: Follow company protocols, infection control standards, and DOH/DHA regulations. Use proper techniques for patient handling to ensure safety for both patient and caregiver. Respect patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (caregiver/nursing aide training preferred).
Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or elderly care.
Knowledge of basic patient care, hygiene, and safety practices.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, patient, and trustworthy personality.
Ability to handle physical demands of caregiving (lifting, moving, assisting patients).

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid DOH license to join our Home Health Care team in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver nursing care to patients according to individual care plans.
Monitor and assess patient health, documenting changes and reporting to the healthcare team.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Educate patients and their families on health management and care plans.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Participate in continuous professional development and training.

Qualifications:

Valid DOH license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Abu Dhabi.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in home health care.
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).

الهدف الوظيفي:
يتولى مقدم الرعاية المنزلية مساعدة المرضى في أنشطة حياتهم اليومية، وتقديم الرعاية الشخصية، ودعم رفاهيتهم العامة في بيئة المنزل. يضمن مقدم الرعاية راحة وأمان المريض مع الالتزام بخطط الرعاية وبروتوكولات الشركة تحت إشراف الكادر التمريضي.

المهام الوظيفية:

رعاية المرضى والمساعدة:

مساعدة المرضى في الأنشطة اليومية مثل الاستحمام، ارتداء الملابس، العناية الشخصية، استخدام المرحاض، وتناول الطعام.
تقديم الدعم الحركي (النقل، المشي، الوضعية، والتمارين حسب التعليمات).
تذكير المرضى بتناول الأدوية وفق تعليمات التمريض أو الطبيب.

المراقبة والتقارير:

ملاحظة أي تغييرات في حالة المريض أو مزاجه أو سلوكه والإبلاغ فورًا إلى منسق التمريض.
تسجيل أنشطة رعاية المرضى والحفاظ على سجلات يومية دقيقة.
الإبلاغ عن الحالات الطارئة أو الحوادث أو المخاطر على السلامة على الفور.

الصحبة والدعم العاطفي:

تقديم الصحبة والمشاركة في الأنشطة الاجتماعية والترفيهية حسب الحاجة.
تقديم الدعم العاطفي للمرضى وعائلاتهم.

المساعدة المنزلية:

المساعدة في الأعمال المنزلية الخفيفة المتعلقة برعاية المريض (مثل تنظيف منطقة المريض، تغيير المفارش، الحفاظ على النظافة).
إعداد وجبات بسيطة ومساعدة المرضى على تناول الطعام إذا لزم الأمر.

الالتزام بالسلامة واللوائح:

الالتزام ببروتوكولات الشركة ومعايير مكافحة العدوى ولوائح هيئة الصحة ووزارة الصحة.
استخدام تقنيات صحيحة للتعامل مع المرضى لضمان السلامة لكل من المريض ومقدم الرعاية.
احترام خصوصية المريض وسرية معلوماته في جميع الأوقات.

المؤهلات والمتطلبات:

شهادة الثانوية العامة أو ما يعادلها (يفضل وجود تدريب في الرعاية أو التمريض المساعد).
خبرة سابقة في تقديم الرعاية، الرعاية المنزلية، أو رعاية كبار السن.
معرفة أساسية برعاية المرضى، النظافة، وممارسات السلامة.
مهارات تواصل وتفاعل جيدة.
شخصية رحيمة، صبورة، وجديرة بالثقة.
القدرة على التعامل مع المتطلبات البدنية للرعاية (رفع، نقل، مساعدة المرضى).
