Category Manager (UAE National Only)
Synopsis:
-
Manage the ground handling category to deliver best value in price/savings, service, supply chain reliability, and Local Content objectives
-
Ensure governance, policy, and compliance requirements are met

Liaise with business users to review and challenge work scopes/specifications

Develop category plans, translate into sourcing strategies, lead sourcing execution through contract award and post-contract management

Personally lead and deliver high value/complex projects

Plan, deliver, and update Category Strategies including demand & supply market analysis, market innovation opportunities, Local Content targets, savings targets, and best commercial approaches
Airport Operations Programme
Education & Experience:

UAE National aged 19+ with valid family book

Minimum 2-year Diploma (accredited by UAE Ministry of Education)

Fluent in English

Experience in customer service position preferred

Accountabilities:

Oversee guest handling across airport touch-points ensuring top-tier service and compliance with safety, security, and brand standards

Meet KPIs, ancillary revenue, and customer service targets

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for smooth operations, briefings, and updates

Manage flight editing and special guest requirements (VIP, PRM, and special categories)

Liaise with control teams to handle disruptions, emergencies, and service recovery

Identify and report safety and security risks, escalating significant issues as needed

Requirements:

Business-related postgraduate master’s degree from top-tier academic institutions (UAE or abroad)

2–3 years’ work experience (Consultancy, Professional Services, International Business)
