Shift Supervisor
The Shift Supervisor is responsible for controlling all shift activities to ensure quality, safety, and productivity. This role involves motivating the team, coordinating tasks, and maximizing output while maintaining compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute pass/size changes to minimize downtime.
Manage scheduling, tools, materials, and shop floor operations efficiently.
Improve production processes for higher mill efficiency.
Meet production targets and adapt to changing delivery and customization requirements.
Identify technical production issues and implement solutions for continuous improvement.
Enforce production policies, standard work practices, and safety procedures.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, health, and environmental regulations.
Guide and develop team members, addressing performance gaps.
Minimum Qualifications:
BS in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering.
Minimum 7 years’ experience as a Supervisor in a wire rod mill.
