E3D Customization Developer

Aveva E3D Software Developer – UAE

Job Objective:

Design, develop, and maintain Technip Energies’ customized modules of Aveva E3D Design, delivering high-quality, scalable software solutions tailored to project needs.

Responsibilities:

Leverage expertise in Aveva E3D Design to create custom solutions and optimize application performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including bug resolution.
Work scope excludes support/coordination of designers, catalog management, or clash resolution during project execution.

Required Skills:

Proven experience in PML, C#, VB.net, and other relevant technologies.
In-depth knowledge of Aveva E3D Design application, including APIs and database structures.
Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and query optimization.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications:

Project Control Manager

Role Summary:

The Project Control Manager will lead and manage all aspects of project control activities—planning, cost control, progress measurement, and reporting—for the Gas Project under a PMC framework. This role ensures compliance with client requirements, contractual obligations, and industry standards while providing oversight of EPC Contractor performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the project control team, including planning, cost, estimating, and reporting.
Develop, implement, and maintain project control systems, procedures, and standards.
Review, monitor, and validate EPC contractor schedules against contractual milestones.
Ensure accurate cost forecasting, budget control, and cash flow management.
Monitor progress, alert on productivity/performance trends, and drive corrective actions.
Prepare consolidated project reports, dashboards, KPIs, and variance analyses for management and clients.
Provide early warnings of deviations, risks, and potential delays, recommending mitigation measures.
Support claims analysis, change management, and extensions of time assessments.
Ensure proper coordination among planning, cost, procurement, and contracts teams.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
20 years of experience in project control, including at least 10 years as a Project Control Manager on large-scale oil & gas projects.
Strong knowledge of PMC and EPC environments.

Contracts Manager

Contracts Manager – Gas Project – Abu Dhabi, UAE

Position Type: 1-Year Contract (Extendable)

Location: Technip Energies, Abu Dhabi Office

Role Summary:

The Contracts Manager will oversee and manage all contractual and commercial matters for the Gas Project under the PMC framework. This role requires expertise in Lump Sum Turnkey (LSTK) contracts, covering preparation, tendering, contract award, execution, and close-out, ensuring contractual compliance and protecting the client’s interests.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the contract management function for the PMC team, including the tendering phase (Q&A database).
Review and redraft EPC/LSTK contracts, subcontracts, and amendments in compliance with client and project requirements.
Manage the full contract lifecycle: preparation, tendering, evaluation, award, execution, and close-out.
Ensure EPC Contractor compliance with contractual obligations, scope, schedule, and commercial terms.
Support tendering strategy, bid evaluations, and recommendation reports.
Provide guidance on contractual risks, liabilities, and mitigation measures.
Coordinate with Project Controls for cost and schedule impacts of contractual changes and interface with all PMC Managers.
Prepare regular reports on contractual status, risks, and issues.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Law, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related fields.
20 years of experience in contracts management, including at least 10 years as a Contracts Manager on large-scale gas and oil EPC and PMC projects.
Proven expertise in LSTK contracts and other contractual arrangements through all stages: preparation, tendering, award, execution, and close-out.
Knowledge of international contracting standards (FIDIC) and experience with Saudi Aramco and Kuwait LSTK contracts.
Experience in handling claims, disputes, and arbitration.
Excellent drafting and communication skills.
Middle East gas project experience highly desirable.
