Mechanical Inspector
Role Overview: Mechanical Inspector – Abu Dhabi, UAE
Our newest opportunity is for a talented Mechanical Inspector to join our team on a project in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This position is responsible for undertaking inspections on-site in accordance with mechanical Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
Key Responsibilities

Attend to Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by the contractor and take timely appropriate action.

Review submitted shop drawings against contract drawings, specifications, local codes, statutory requirements, and international best practices.
-
Report any contractor work found not to comply with approved drawings and specifications to stakeholders for action.

Monitor work quality and assess site safety, including health and environmental issues, ensuring compliance with contractual/QCS specifications and health and safety risk assessments.
-
Maintain daily site activity records, including progress photos, readily available for inspection.
-
Prepare surveillance reports for work deficiencies and non-conformance reports (NCRs) as necessary.
-
Ensure effective coordination between discipline-related works and other disciplines.
-
Provide technical input and expertise to resolve discipline-related site issues as they arise.
