Amazon Web Services (AWS) is expanding rapidly and is seeking a Security Specialist Intern to join its growing Data Center team.

As a Data Center Operational Security Specialist Intern, you will play a key role in enhancing operational security in AWS data centers. The position involves writing reports, preparing presentations, and communicating security operations status to management.

This is a 12-week internship program at AWS Data Centers in Berlin, suitable for both mandatory and voluntary university internships. Please specify which type you're applying for.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage vendors for new security constructions, daily operations, patrols, and repairs.
Analyze data to derive metrics and improvements.
Propose enhancements for electronic surveillance and access control systems.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is rapidly growing and looking for Engineering Operations Technician Interns to support their Data Center team.

As an intern, you’ll provide technical support in AWS-owned and operated data centers. The main focus is to maintain 100% operational availability of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, while ensuring top-tier service to internal teams.

Interns will work both independently and collaboratively, requiring excellent prioritization, organization, and communication skills, as well as quick reaction abilities.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Serve as a front-line responder for electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and operations.
Work with high-availability equipment supporting mission-critical servers (uptime >99.999%).
Equipment includes:
- Standby diesel generators
- Switchgear
- UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supplies)
- PDU (Power Distribution Units)
- AHU (Air Handling Units)
- Chillers, Cooling Towers, and more.
