Senior IT Support Engineer – L2
📍 Location: Dubai, UAE
Job Responsibilities:
Provide end-user support (onsite or remote)
In-depth knowledge of MS Windows 10 & 11
Strong experience with Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022
Basic understanding of Linux operating systems
Proficient in RAID configuration
Familiar with Windows Server Clustering
Experience troubleshooting iOS & macOS systems
Installation and troubleshooting of Microsoft Office products
Strong troubleshooting skills with Outlook and email issues
Proficient in O365 Management Portal
Familiar with SharePoint and OneDrive
Experience with email hosting migrations and DNS management
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Intune, and cloud technologies
Hands-on experience resolving LAN/WAN issues and Wi-Fi AP configurations
Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot various types of printers
Ability to set up email accounts and configure Outlook on PCs and mobile devices
Knowledge of backup technologies: Veeam, cloud backups, Acronis
Understanding of Windows Server, ESXi, Hyper-V, and virtualization
Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP/DNS records
Familiarity with firewalls (FortiGate, SonicWall, Sophos)
Experience configuring firewall policies, VPN tunneling, SSL VPNs
Knowledge of CCTV, NVR, DVR configuration and management
Proactive approach to IT support and process improvement
Perform preventive maintenance according to schedule
Experience with asset management, inventory documentation, and IT infrastructure documentation
Strong communication skills and excellent attitude toward user support
Requirements:
Experience: 6 to 8 years in a relevant IT support role
