Legal Counsel - Middle East (O&G, Manufacturing)

Responsibilities

Provide legal and strategic advice to the corporate and business teams in the Middle East region;

Provide legal counsel in all aspects of local and international laws and regulations, with a focus on commercial law in the upstream oil and gas industry as it relates to the sale of goods and provision of services;

Provide support in structuring, drafting and negotiating commercial transactions and projects, including but not limited to sales, purchasing, licensing, commercial agency, provision of services, leasing/rental;

Assess risk profiles and developing the appropriate measures to address and mitigate the identified risks;

Support and provide advice to the regional stakeholders in connection with commercial transactions and applicable legislation, company policies, and best practices;

Mechanical Technician (Wireline/Slickline Manufacturing)

Responsibilities

Review and understand the WO for the job assigned.

Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job.

Assemble the job as per the specifications provided in the Work Order package issued.

Update and maintain documents required for relevant work orders.

Notify supervisor for any mistakes or as built changes required.

Conduct hydrostatic tests or FAT of completed jobs — Only if authorized to do, at designated areas.

Maintain tools and equipment always in a good condition.

Report to the cell leader immediately any machine problem or accident.

Maintain high standards of housekeeping in the workshop as per 5S.

Comply with all NOV Company and HSE procedures and policies. 

Perform any kind of tasks/duties as requested by the cell leader.

To be available for field service trips if required and for other activities requested by the management. 

Customer Repair Representative (CRR) (Aftermarket, Pressure control equipments)

Responsibilities

Monitor all incoming customer inquiries for quotations and equipment arrivals, ensuring seamless tracking from receipt to job completion and shipment.

Maintain accurate job status by regularly updating the work-in-progress (WIP) and enquiry/quotation trackers.

Coordinate job details with the shop team via tracker tickets and ensure alignment with operations.

Perform compliance checks on jobs to adhere to internal and external regulations before proceeding.

Prepare and issue sales quote acknowledgments, budgetary or firm cost estimate sheets, and CPA (Cost Pricing Analysis).

Liaise with the finance team to verify payment terms and ensure taxes are reflected in quotes and invoices.

Follow workflow processes to obtain necessary approvals for cost estimates and release Compass quotations to customers in a timely manner.

Prepare sales contracts upon receiving purchase orders to ensure alignment with terms and conditions.

Provide customers with regular updates, sales order acknowledgments, and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), maintaining transparency throughout the job cycle.

Field Service Engineer (Emiratization)

Responsibilities

Assist in the inspection and assessment of equipment to ensure it is operating effectively and safely.

Support the operation and routine maintenance of equipment, following established guidelines and procedures.

Participate in troubleshooting and repairing equipment issues under the supervision of experienced personnel.

Adhere to all HSE standards policies to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.

Document service activities, including inspections, maintenance tasks, and repairs, with attention to detail.

Travel to client sites as required. Realize that the duty rotation may be impacted by outside influences, and you may be required to change schedule at short notice. 

Maintain a close working relationship with all the crew members, supervisors, and management within the NOV organization.

Ensure service quality is continually enhanced. Set a high standard in safety, operations, maintenance, and repair, to ensure that the customer is satisfied with the value that our equipment and people bring to their operation.
