Faculty Position: Computer Information Science
Location: Al Ain Women's College, Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT), UAE

About the Role:

As a Faculty member in Computer Information Science, you will play a critical role in delivering a dynamic, industry-relevant curriculum, conducting impactful research, and promoting student success in a practical, culturally aware environment. You will help shape HCT’s academic direction, engage with curriculum development and evaluation, and bring innovation into the classroom.

Responsibilities:

• Teach Computer Information Science courses aligned with international academic and industry standards

• Participate in curriculum development, accreditation processes, and outcome-based education

• Conduct applied research aligned with the division’s strategic goals

• Mentor students and support their academic and professional development

• Collaborate with faculty and administration to implement college-wide initiatives

Minimum Requirements:

• A Ph.D. or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field

• A relevant professional certification is preferred

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience is preferred

• Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and accreditation processes

المسؤوليات:

• تدريس مساقات علوم الحاسوب والمعلومات وفقًا للمعايير الدولية

• المساهمة في تطوير المناهج وعمليات الاعتماد وضمان الجودة

• إجراء بحوث تطبيقية تخدم أهداف القسم

• الإرشاد الأكاديمي للطلبة ودعم تطورهم المهني

• التعاون مع الزملاء والإدارة في تنفيذ المبادرات المؤسسية

المؤهلات المطلوبة:

• درجة الدكتوراه أو الماجستير في علوم الحاسوب أو تخصص ذي صلة

• يُفضل وجود شهادة مهنية معتمدة في المجال

• خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في القطاع الصناعي ذي الصلة

• خبرة مثبتة في تطوير المناهج وفقًا لمعايير الاعتماد الأكاديمي
