Responsibilities:
- Managing feasibility study for the projects and providing engineering support for the project.
- Reviewing and commenting all technical proposals from the transport companies.
- Supporting the project on the risk review.
- Executing road survey when it’s required.
- Recommending road / bypasses improvements if required.
- Analyzing and recommending technical solutions for execution plan.
- Insuring maximum health and safety related roles and regulations.
- Assisting to loading/offloading operations
Requirements:
As an ideal candidate, you will have a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of engineering or construction or project logistics or heavy lift transportation. You should be knowledgeable in transport equipment’s design, heavy equipment’s lifting, barging, or shipping.- You must be capable of managing and prioritizing multiple time-sensitive tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues from other functions.
- You should have project management understanding.

Scope
Coordination and execution of Project & UAE Overland customer orders in accordance with their requirements and/or procedures(SOP)Responsibilities:
- Handle end to end logistical operations of the client(Sea/Air/Land).
- Address and resolve any concerns related to shipments or delivery timelines.
- Should be well versed in handling import, export, and cross trade movements.
- Follow up with Operations team for Customs processing (export/import).
- Documentation/administration/invoicing / filing.
- Feedback to the customer (internal and external reporting of the shipments to the customer) by various means (mail, phone, EDI).
- Operational troubleshooting.
- Non-conformance reporting in accordance with the KPI’s.
- Act as the point of contact between the company and clients regarding logistics matters.
- Work on budgeting and cost optimization in transportation and logistics operations. Procure and quote as per the client requirement.
- Requires strong organizational and time management skills to handle the day-to-day logistics activities.
Job Requirements
Qualifications / Experience- +3 years of detailed experience of logistics and project forwarding operations/regulations and documentation.
- Preferable a professional degree by a licensed educational institution specialized in logistics and forwarding.
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Software applications and/or other market-leading software applications.
- Should hold a driving license.
