Job Description
ADM is seeking an Export Manager to drive its Animal Nutrition Business in the Middle East. This is a key role in a fast-growing market, reporting to the Sales Director Middle East & Africa in Kenya.
Main Duties:
- Unlock and maximize the potential of Animal Nutrition Business in the Middle East.
- Manage technical sales, including key accounts.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Identify and develop new business and partnership opportunities.
- Develop and execute sales plans and budget.
- Create and implement a 3-5 year Business Plan for the region.
- Perform monthly reporting, sales analytics, and market strategy optimization.
- Develop customer concepts with product management teams.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive activities, and consumer behaviors.
- Support and execute innovative sales and marketing strategies.
- Work closely with technical support, logistics, product management, marketing, and finance teams.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Agriculture, Agro Engineering, Veterinary Science, or Animal Health.
- Knowledge of animal nutrition (additives and premixes).
- At least 7 years’ experience in B2B dairy, ingredients business, feed millers, or premix corporations.
- Strong sales and business development skills.
- Negotiation, autonomy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a virtual team.
- Initiative, problem-solving, and ability to work under pressure.
- Customer service orientation.
- Experience in a matrix organization with a cross-cultural mindset.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel within the region.
- Fluent in English.
