About the Job
The Library Information Specialist is responsible for performing tasks in support of services and activities of the Library, working alongside existing academic partners, to implement and manage library systems, discovery mechanisms, and control mechanisms for online resources on behalf of Khalifa University. The Specialist is also responsible for updating fellow library staff about relevant and emerging systems technology and for using technology to support students, manage repositories, and provide multimedia center support.
- Coordinate the daily operations of a library function or program such as serial ordering, reference processing, special collections, electronic publications, collection development, and information services.

المعايير الأساسية
- دكتوراه من جامعة مرموقة في الهندسة المدنية والبيئية أو تخصص ذو صلة.
- خبرة في كتابة الأوراق العلمية أو الأوراق الاستعراضية.
- الاستعداد للمساهمة في ثقافة فريق تعاوني وداعم.
- مهارات ممتازة في التواصل باللغة الإنجليزية (شفهياً وكتابياً).
- القدرة على العمل بشكل مستقل وكجزء من فريق.
- القدرة المثبتة على العمل على مهام متعددة مع مطالب ومواعيد نهائية متنافسة.
- القدرة على تدريب وإرشاد الطلاب ودعم الباحثين الآخرين.

عن الوظيفة
مدير تطوير الأعمال مسؤول عن إنشاء شبكة من الشركاء ذوي القيمة المضافة في قطاعات مختلفة ضمن مجال الخبرة، وتعزيز البرامج، وقيادة تطوير توليد الدخل من خلال المشاريع الأكاديمية، البحث العلمي، وتبادل المعرفة، بالعمل مع الكوادر الأكاديمية والفنية، بالتعاون مع شركاء الجامعة التجاريين والموظفين المهنيين الآخرين.
سيكون مدير تطوير الأعمال أمرًا حاسمًا لتحقيق أهداف مركز البحث في الأعمال.
المسؤوليات الاستراتيجية
- المساهمة في تطوير استراتيجية القسم، بالإضافة إلى الخطط السنوية للأعمال.
- المساهمة في تطوير سياسات وإجراءات القسم، بما يتماشى مع الأهداف التجارية العامة للجامعة، وضمان أنها تعزز أفضل الممارسات والتميز.
- المساهمة في تطوير وإدارة ميزانيات القسم والتقارير في الوقت المناسب لضمان معالجة أي تباين بشكل فوري.
المسؤوليات التشغيلية
- تحديد وتطوير وتنفيذ فرص عمل جديدة، والتي قد تشمل شراكات نقل المعرفة والتبادل، مشاريع البحث الموجهة، وتسي commercialization الموارد.
- إجراء أبحاث سوقية وتطوير استراتيجيات بناءً على تلك الأبحاث لتحديد الشركاء الاستراتيجيين الذين يمكنهم تمويل مبادرات الجامعة، ودعم الطلاب، أو التعاون مع الجامعة في البحث والمشاريع الأخرى.
- تنفيذ الخطط الخاصة باستهداف الشراكات من أجل النمو والحفاظ على الشراكات المستدامة.
- التفاوض على شروط العقد مع العملاء والتواصل مع أصحاب المصلحة.
- بناء علاقات قوية مع جميع أصحاب المصلحة الداخليين (المبيعات، الشراكات، دعم المنتج، نجاح العميل، الفرق التشغيلية وفرق التطوير)، وتمثيل العوائق الفنية أمام تسليم العميل.
- مراجعة الشراكات الحالية بشكل نقدي لتحديد فعاليتها في تحقيق أهداف المركز، وتقديم التوصيات للتحسينات أو الإجراءات التصحيحية.
- صياغة الاتفاقيات الأولية للشراكات التي تذكر الشروط المتفق عليها ليتم مراجعتها من قبل أصحاب المصلحة والاستشارة القانونية.
- الاجتماع مع الكيانات التي تقدمت للجامعة بشراكات محتملة بهدف الحفاظ على علاقات عامة أو مجتمعية جيدة.
- الحفاظ على قاعدة بيانات شروط اتفاقيات الشراكات واحتياجات الجامعة لضمان الوفاء بالشروط المتفق عليها.
- ضمان الامتثال لسياسات وإجراءات أمان المعلومات في الجامعة، والإبلاغ عن أي خروقات أو مخاطر أمنية أخرى.
- ضمان التنسيق مع الأقسام الأخرى لتسهيل إنجاز المهام والمسؤوليات حسب الحاجة.
- أداء أي مهام أخرى يتم تكليفها من قبل المدير المباشر.
المسؤوليات الإشرافية
- توفير التدريب والإرشاد والمشورة حسب الحاجة لتعزيز القدرات الداخلية للفريق وضمان تحقيق الأهداف والخطط المحددة.
- التوصية بالدورات التدريبية المناسبة وفقًا للاحتياجات التدريبية المحددة مسبقًا، وتقييم فعاليتها، ومتابعة نتائجها.
- إجراء تقييمات أداء للمرؤوسين وفقًا للجداول الزمنية المخطط لها، وتوصية بالإجراءات اللازمة وفقًا للممارسات المتبعة.
- عقد اجتماعات دورية مع المرؤوسين لضمان وضوح الأولويات وسير العمل بسلاسة.
- متابعة الأمور الإدارية للموظفين مثل الإجازات والإجازات المرضية والشؤون الإدارية الأخرى ذات الصلة.
المؤهلات المطلوبة
- درجة في الهندسة أو في مجال ذي صلة بالتمويل، لتسهيل فهم فرص الشراكة الاستراتيجية بما يتماشى مع رسالة الجامعة وأبحاثها.
الخبرات المطلوبة
- الحد الأدنى من 8 سنوات من الخبرة ذات الصلة.
- خبرة في تطوير وتنفيذ خطط الأعمال بما في ذلك التخطيط المالي وإعداد التقارير.
- خبرة في تطوير فرص الأعمال الجديدة من خلال المشاريع التجارية أو تبادل المعرفة.
