Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Health Safety Environment Officer. The Health Safety Environment Officer will be responsible for ensuring adherence to relevant workplace safety regulations, implementing health and safety policies and procedures, conducting safety inspections, preventive maintenance, and identifying and correcting hazardous conditions.
Qualifications
Health & Safety, Environment Health and Safety (EHS), Occupational Health, Workplace Safety, and NEBOSH certifications
Experience in managing a Health, Safety and Environment management system
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
Experience in the construction industry is an added advantage
