Site Engineer
Job Description:
The Site Engineer is responsible for executing site activities in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules. The role involves supervising work progress, coordinating with subcontractors, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and maintaining accurate site records to support smooth and timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Execute works on site as per approved drawings, specifications, construction program, and method statements
-
Report technical issues promptly to the Section Engineer for resolution
-
Coordinate and monitor subcontractor activities to ensure timely progress and resolve delays
-
Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures; identify and report risks immediately
-
Maintain a detailed site diary recording daily activities, manpower, equipment, and any site constraints
-
Plan and manage inspection requirements; ensure work is complete and compliant before inspection
-
Allocate manpower, materials, and equipment to foremen and supervise their performance to meet targets
-
Follow daily and weekly work programs and execute instructions from PCM/SE after ensuring clarity

Ensure the latest drawings, method statements, and ITPs are used on site by the team

Coordinate equipment requirements with the Plant Representative through the Section Engineer
Quality Inspector
Required Qualifications & Competencies:
-
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Architecture / Civil Engineering

4+ years of experience in the Building Construction Industry
-
Knowledge of on-site testing procedures and requirements
-
Experience in preparing and reviewing quality documentation
-
Computer skills including competency in MS Word and Excel
Key Responsibilities:
-
Review & Planning: Examine drawings, specifications, and method statements to define and understand construction criteria

Inspection & Testing: Conduct required inspection and testing activities according to relevant inspection and test plans, and coordinate with consultant; prepare and submit WIR/MIR to Consultant and perform joint inspection; coordinate with Section Engineer for daily inspection schedule; prepare and follow up closeout of snags during handover

Reporting & Documentation: Prepare daily Quality Control Report and follow up on actions required with relevant Section Engineer; maintain quality records for inspection and test activities; report product non-conformance according to ACC Standard Operating Procedure – SOP – QM – 03
Contracts Engineer

Familiar with ADNOC specifications, EPC QA/QC processes, and instrument inspection procedures

Certification in QA/QC or Instrumentation Inspection (e.g., API, CSWIP, or equivalent) is an advantage

Proficient in reviewing P&IDs, hook-up drawings, loop diagrams, and instrument data sheets
